New holoraphic technology will enable manufacturers to produce 3D images without the need for special screens or glasses.
RIKEN Institute researchers in Japan have developed a technique based on the behavior of free electrons on the surface of metal. Unlike current 3D technology, the new technique does not create an illusion of 3D, it is an actual full color 3D image.

The technique has been described as relatively simple, and the image produced can be viewed from any angle, just like the original object.
